I was born in Belize City, Central America. I came to America at a very young age and I have been in America longer than I have lived in Belize but I consider myself Belizean. For the past fifteen years I have been involved in real estate. From origination to sales to secondary marketing you name I’ve done it. Now at 33 I want to do something that doesn’t quite feel like work. Real estate is not always fun and exciting. There are quite a few rude people in real estate and lately I don’t feel like it’s worth it, but I have a family to feed so I continue my journey with hopes that people will become nicer or more professional but I’m still waiting….
I’ve always wanted to own my own women and kids clothing boutique. I love vintage inspired clothing and the pinup girls of the past. Pin Up Girl Clothing has amazing clothes so does Heartbreaker Fashion but my one complaint is that there are not many women of color that embrace that look; or at least they aren’t being depicted. When I first started looking for pin-up models of color it became discouraging to see so few nationalities represented. Hopefully one day I can change that!
Initially I was going to use this blog to only talk about my store, but I figured it would be better to express myself and get to know me again.
